I want to start my blog with this photograph of sunrise, seen from the Angeles Crest Highway, the morning of July 4th, 2012. I love it there, coming down into the valley overlooking the Greater Los Angeles Metropolitan area.
I spend a lot of time at Switzer Camp, higher up from where the photograph was taken, up there the air is warm, it's just at the crest and so you get to feel the warm air coming up from the Antelope valley, it's very pleasant, and being so high up, apprx. 3500' above sea level, one is above the cloud layer.
